Created by a couple, for couples

loqd began with a simple observation: while technology connects us to the world, it often disconnects us from the person sitting right beside us. As a couple who experienced this paradox firsthand, we wondered: what if technology could actually strengthen our closest relationship instead of competing with it?

In 2022, we embarked on a mission to build an app that respected the sacredness of partnerships. We didn't want another social media platform—we wanted a private digital space where couples could cultivate deeper connections, celebrate milestones, and navigate the everyday together.

Drawing from our own relationship journey and countless conversations with other couples, we designed loqd with intention, focusing on features that truly matter to relationships: meaningful communication, emotional transparency, shared responsibilities, playfulness, and memory-building.
